Narcissus in the window

A bunch of daffs in a dodgy light

I snapped this the other night when I got home from work.  It wasn’t really mean't to be anything but I thought the narcissus silhouetted against the sunset was rather nice.  The mother loves a narcissus, no plain old daffodil for her either.  When I was at Uni she requested some for mother’s day so I had to ship a box over from the Scilly Isles.  Oh to be able to run into a supermarket and buy any old bunch the day before like other people do, but she was beyond thrilled so it was worth it.  No such luck this year, she had to grow this herself in the garden, poor woman.
